First of all you must be with the right company, at the RIGHT TIME in history. I am shocked at how many people join companies that peaked 5-10-15 years ago. I even had someone yesterday on linked in send me this message asking me if I had ever been introduced to Melaleuca. I thought it was a joke. I remeber when they launched 30 years ago.
The truth is people are joining companies like.
- Herbalife
- Arbonne
- Stella&Dot
- Younique
- MONAT
- Isagenix
- Nu Skin
- doTERRA
- Acti-Labs
- LuLaRoe
- Usborne Books
- It Works
- Forever Living Products
- Juice Plus
- and even Amway, Shaklee, and Mary Kay every day. I am not trying to offend you,
but those ships have sailed. The big money has already been made! The marketing, promotion, and self-education time it takes to build a team is THE SAME no matter what company you join.Doesn’t it make business since to join a company that provides the most upside potential?
Of course it does, but most people who join network marketing companies don’t make business decisions, they make emotional decisions. They join because they like their sponsor, or they personally had a good experience with the products.
I am sorry, you can love your sponsor and the Melaleuca products or dozens of other companies all you want, but when you join the wrong company at the wrong time in history you will be lucky to ever maintain any type of business. Because over time anyone you do manage to sponsor is going to realize, this ship has sailed. So step one is find the right opportunity at the right time in history. Honestly at the time of this writing, September 1, 2022 there is only one company I can in good conscious recommend, and I talk about exactly why in this podcast.
So if you find the right opportunity at the right time in history to maximize your upside potential you must develop awesome time mangement skills. I work with many part-time people that are progressing and growing their customer base and downline team each and every month, but they are very disciplined with their time.
Below is a webinar and also a podcast session I did regarding time managment tips. When I was part-time years ago building my Shaklee business my greatest growth came when I was working 56 hours a week on my regular job at IBM in Lexington Kentucky. We were working two hours of overtime every day, can 6 hours on Saturday, so yes, it can be done!
I was just speaking with one of our team members yesterday, who is starting to understand the focus and dedication it takes to build a team. All his free time is spent working his business or when it is too late in the evening or early in the morning to make contacts he is listening to podcast.
You want to earn an above average income? Average people don’t make above average income. Successful people are wiling to do for a short period of time what most people aren’t so they can do for the rest of their life what most people can’t.
It really comes down to how bad do you want it? Everyone would like to be financially independent, but few are willing to do the work it takes as the Great Les Brown talks about here:
This may be a good song to add to your play list!
