There is “just in time” training versus “some other time”
“Just in time” Personal Development
“Just in time” means it teaches you something that you need help with today.
It’s not something you can put off and you need to learn it right away.

That’s something you should get right away
“Some Other Time” Personal Development
“Some other time” means that the topic seems interesting but you don’t need to learn it now.
For i.e., if you’re struggling to recruit people, then a course on how to create duplication is interesting but not something you need right now.
You can bookmark it and go through it “some other time”
If you apply this rule, you’ll learn smarter, implement quicker and achieve network marketing success faster so keep that in mind as you go through these types of courses available.
Types of Network Marketing Courses
Avoid Cheap General Courses by Non Industry Experts!
Achieving network marketing success sounds easy but is actually extremely difficult.
I highly recommend to avoid network marketing courses created by companies or individuals who never had any success in network marketing.
Examples of these type of courses are the ones offered by Alison, Udemy, Course for Success, etc. and may even offer some type of bogus certification.
The certification itself may not be bogus but it means nothing because you don’t get paid for certifications. You get paid to be able to recruit and duplicate
These course are usually cheap (under $30) and are total waste of time.
If you do buy a network marketing course, invest your money into one created by the well respected network marketing trainers who have decades of experience in MLM.
You get what you pay for and your time is valuable
Complete “A to Z” Network Marketing Courses
These are courses that cover everything is required to become successful from mindset, recruiting and leadership.
They’re usually long and contain many modules and videos.
I don’t recommend these network marketing courses because of their length and it contains so much info that most of it is “some other time” knowledge and not what you need right now.
Most distributors usually never finish these type of courses.
MLM Recruiting Courses
These network marketing courses go very detailed into network marketing recruiting from how to invite to objection handling, presentations, etc.
This is the type of course that I recommend for most network marketing professionals.

I also highly recommend these courses since they go even deeper into a specific area.

These MLM courses which only talk about leadership topics are rare and a new one hasn’t been released in years.
The main reason is because there isn’t a huge market for these courses and most MLM leaders usually learn from each other in Masterminds or in private 1 on 1 coaching sessions.
Non MLM Courses
These courses are not specific network marketing training but can be very helpful because they teach you how to be a better entrepreneur.
These courses are usually related to mindset, productivity, general business or time management.
I also recommend these courses especially any course that is about mindset since attitude is 95% of success.
One of the best courses that I took that helped me built a 7 figure business was Jim Rohn’s Art of Exceptional Living which has now been turned into an audiobook
Another great generic business course especially for Christians is How to Succeed in Business God’s Way by James Zheng
Which Network Marketing Course is Best For You?
Before you decide on which direct selling course is best for you, make sure you go through the Network Marketing Training Hub first and then if there is still something you need help with, then you go get a MLM course.
