Vertical scaling basically means adding more and more budget to your campaign, by increasing your daily budget, and horizontal scaling is when you scale your winning ads by creating new ad groups and launching new campaigns.

What works the best for us is scaling our top campaigns horizontally across multiple ad accounts, using TikTok’s bulk import features to launch campaigns in bulk.

So let’s jump into this guide and I’ll show you how you can scale your winning campaigns across multiple ad accounts without the hassle of setting up everything manually.

Why Scaling Through Multiple Ad Accounts is Better

Running the same ads in a single account can lead to audience fatigue, where users start seeing your ads too often and stop engaging. One of the main benefits of scaling through multiple ad accounts is that you can reach broader audiences while you avoid audience fatigue in a single account. 

Similarly you can also test different budgets and strategies targeting the same audience and using the same ads and don’t have to worry about oversaturating one account.

This also gives you an extra layer of protection because as many of you know, ad accounts can sometimes get flagged or banned, even for minor issues. This is important because TikTok has strict rules to prevent advertisers from managing multiple accounts in ways that might seem suspicious.

Anti detect browsers basically mimic different devices, IPs, and browser settings for each of your ad accounts. By this you can ensure that TikTok cannot link your accounts together, reducing the risk of bans.

For this you can use the following anti-detect browsers:

  • Dolphin Anty
  • Multilogin App

There is probably more, but all are very similar and have similar pricing offers as well, so go with the one that you like the most. For this tutorial we’re going to use AdsPower.

To get started with AdsPower, first you need to Download and install AdsPower from their official website, and create an account and log in to access the dashboard.

Next you need to set up a new profile for each TikTok Ads account you manage.

Assign each profile a unique IP address. You can use proxy services like residential or mobile proxies for higher security and reliability. I recommend proxyempire.io to get premium residential proxies.

You can customize other settings like user-agent, operating system, and device fingerprint to make each profile look like it’s coming from a different device.

Once you set everything ,all you need to do is start the profile by clicking on the Open button, log in to your TikTok Ads account within that profile. Then repeat the same steps to create profiles for your other ad accounts as well. AdsPower will store cookies and session data securely for that account.

How to Launch Campaigns in Bulk Using TikTok’s Bulk Import Feature

Instead of having to repeat the boring steps of setting up campaigns one at a time on each of your ad accounts, TikTok’s Bulk Import feature lets you upload data for multiple campaigns, ad groups, and ads all at once. 

By using a template provided by TikTok, you can set up everything from budgets and targeting to creative assets in a single upload. So basically you can add all your campaign details in a single spreadsheet, and use that in each of your ad accounts.

To get started, log in to your TikTok Ads account, go to the Campaigns section and find the Bulk Import/Export feature.

This is where you can export and import campaign data.

So one thing you can do here is to download TikTok’s template for bulk uploads

Then you can enter all your campaign data, like campaign settings, adgroups, ads, etc.

And each required field has a note where they explain what you need to enter in the field.

This is one way of doing it if you want to launch a brand new campaign, and you want to launch it on multiple accounts right away.

But, since we want to launch winning campaigns in bulk on multiple accounts, all we need to do is export (download) our existing campaign.

So go to your campaign, select it, click bulk export, and select export ‘’Selected Ads’’

This will export all the settings of your campaign, adgroups and ads, so you can go and import it in the other ad accounts.

The only thing you have to upload manually are the ads, the videos files. Ad texts and everything else will be included in the exported CSV or excel file, but the videos you need to upload separately.

To make the process even faster, I recommend uploading the videos to the account before you import the campaign. By doing that, you don’t have to do that extra step to upload and edit your ads during campaign creation.

So in Tiktok Ads, go to Tools, select Creative Library

And upload your ads here.

After that go back to campaigns, select Bulk import, and import your campaign

Once the file is validated, confirm the upload to launch your campaign. You’ll see the campaign appear in the campaigns section, ready to go live, and that’s it, now you can go to the next account, upload the videos, import the campaign and that’s it.
